Since April of 2000 my career has been with We Lov Pets and I have enjoyed every minute of it. It is my passion to work for a company that truly appreciates their community, their customers, their employees and the well being of animals. When I went to college for business management I was working for We Lov Pets with my mom who ran it at that time. I knew with my passion for business and my passion for animals I had found my career of choice. I could never be happier. I have much gratitude for all of our customers for their continued support...thank you! Along with my work family I have a husband, four little girls, two Black Labs, a bunny and fish. Miranda Cartwright
Manager - Zanesville
I was born and raised here in Zanesville, Ohio. I graduated from Tri-valley Highschool in 2013 and attended Zane State College, where I obtained my associate's degree in Applied Science, to become a medical assistant. I started working at WeLovPets in October of 2011. After graduating college, I knew my heart was here at WeLovPets. Our customers and their pets are what have truly kept me here. Over the years, I have been able to build relationships with customers and their pets, which I find to be truly rewarding. In addition, I have a passion for animals. Over the years, I have owned guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, bearded dragons, a blue-tongued skinks, finches, parakeets, and a crested gecko. Of course, when growing up, we always had a dog and a cat! I currently have two cats, a ferret, a green cheek conure, a cockatiel, and a blue front amazon parrot. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children and family, reading, watching movies, and snuggling my fur babies.

Hello! I’m Christie Dilling, one of the store managers at WeLovPets, where I’ve been proudly serving our community for 21 years. With 27 years of retail management experience and a lifetime surrounded by animals, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine passion to my work. I grew up on a farm, earned a background in business, and became a Certified Clinical Pet Nutritionist to help animals live their longest, healthiest lives through proper nutrition. At home, I share my life with three dogs, six cats, and a spirited black-capped conure named Maverick. I love being part of a small business and can’t imagine working anywhere other than here in Marietta, Ohio—helping pets and their people every day.

Hi, I’m Kaitlin! I’m proud to say I was born and raised right here in Tuscarawas County and graduated from Newcomerstown High School and Buckeye Career Center in 2016. Before joining the We Lov Pets team, I spent seven years as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). My passion has always been helping others, but after the challenges of the pandemic, I decided to channel that energy into a new direction. I joined the We Lov Pets family as a cashier in 2023, and it has been an incredible environment for me to grow both personally and professionally. I love that I can still provide care and support to our community members—with the added bonus of helping their pets! Whether you're a long-time owner or a new pet parent, I’m here to make sure you and your furry friends have everything you need. I’ve been surrounded by cats and dogs my entire life. Currently, I’m a proud "dog mom" to a beautiful German Shepherd named Sampson. When we aren't out on our daily walks, you can usually find me: Reading a good book Baking treats Kayaking on the water Gardening in my backyard
Ethan Gerber
Co-Managers - Marietta
Howdy! My name is Ethan, and I am the co-manager here in Marietta alongside Christie. I am a Marietta native and graduated from Warren High School in 2010. I have an Associate's Degree in business from Hocking College. Alongside my Associates', I have multiple certificates in animal husbandry. Since I started working at the age of 16, I have been in the animal industry in one way or another. I have been blessed to be able to work in multiple pet stores, volunteer with multiple animal shelters & rescues, work with wildlife rescues & rehabbers, and to this day, I have my own personal "zoo". Over the years, I have cared for & kept everything from dogs & cats to birds to farm animals to small mammals to fish to reptiles, amphibians, & arthropods. My life has been largely influenced by animals & nature and that truly is one of my greatest honors. My time at WeLovPets started when I was in high school and became the fish manager. I then took a small hiatus to go to college and shortly after returned and took the roll as the animal department manager. After some time, I became a project manager and assisted our other stores. Now I mostly stay put working in the role I love. Outside of WeLovPets, I am also a vintage lover and collect all kinds of glass. I love playing volleyball, pickleball, gardening, hiking, traveling, and generally enjoy experiencing new adventures. I am excited to continue my journey growing with WeLovPets and helping animals of every shape & size. Whether that animal is new or a long-time best friend, Ethan Lovs Pets.
